These days im working on a book which are a collection of fabel-animals made by three and fourth grades in my region. In march I travelled around in the schools with this workshop I have developed called "Happy Hybrid" ; based on my love for zoologic books. The activity is what I call analogue-photo-chopping :) ...collage made by photocopies from the wonderful photo-material that exhist in this litterature. But before this start we have a dialoge while I'm running a dig.slideshow displaying different zoologic illustrations...from old to new...and where we not only talk about animals but also discuss the different illustrations; like whats a benifit of a drawing compared to a photograph...what have changed in the development of photography that and how that this effect the illutrations...why do they choose to mask out the background....and so on...very exhiting conversations...children are expert at seeing...and combine ibservations and intuitive philosophy...

I really love this project all though these days of scanning is a big BLAH...hope i can make the book as good as it deserves to be... the material is hillarious....
